Counseling psychology addresses the emotional, social, work, school and physical health concerns people may have at different stages in their lives, focusing on typical life stresses and more severe issues with which people may struggle as individuals and as a part of families, groups and organizations
Objectives of the Course
- Students will engage in the scientific research process and gain the skills necessary to conduct and disseminate original research
- Students will demonstrate knowledge of and competence in the ethical conduct of research.
- Students will gain knowledge of and competence in the area of psychological and clinical assessment.
- Students will integrate science and theoretical writings in their psychological practice.
