School of Nursing - ICMHS, Kenya

Nursing is involved in the protection, promotion and optimization of health abilities, prevention of illness and injury alleviation of suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human resources.

All Nurses are responsible for the treatment, safety and recovery of acutely or chronically ill individuals; health promotion and maintenance within families, communities and populations; and treatment of life-threatening emergencies in a wide range of healthcare settings.

Imperial College of Medical and Health Sciences has been inspected and approved by the Nursing Council of Kenya to train Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing. Other programmes under this department includes; Health Support Services and Community Health Assistant.
